About the Opportunity 

The Global Mobility Adviser plays a key role in supporting Griffith students to access international learning opportunities through exchange study abroad short-term mobility and New Colombo Plan programs. The role involves engaging with students throughout their mobility journey while contributing to the promotion administration and continuous improvement of outbound mobility programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to students considering outbound mobility opportunities through a range of communication channels helping to increase program participation.
  • Assist with the administration and processing of applications for outbound mobility inbound exchange and study abroad programs.
  • Represent Griffith Global Mobility at events information sessions expos Open Day and visits from partner institutions agents and government delegates.
  • Develop and maintain website content and support the creation of promotional materials to enhance student engagement and participation.
  • Maintain accurate mobility data and records and prepare reports and statistics as required.
  • Keep current with relevant legislation regulatory requirements University policies and emerging trends in international education and student mobility.

About you

We are seeking a highly organised and student-focused professional who is passionate about international education and delivering exceptional service. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with students staff and external stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills including experience delivering information sessions presentations and promotional activities to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional administrative skills with a high level of accuracy attention to detail and the ability to manage complex processes and competing priorities.
  • A customer-focused approach and genuine commitment to supporting students throughout their global learning experiences.
  • Experience developing maintaining or promoting content across digital and print channels including websites presentations brochures and other marketing materials.
  • Strong digital literacy and the ability to quickly learn and work across a range of systems and platforms.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of tasks and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people is comfortable presenting to large groups has a keen eye for detail and is motivated by helping students access life-changing international opportunities.

What we can offer
This is a full time continuing position and can be based at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary

HEW 5 Base range salary - $82415.66 - $92456.55 17% superannuation. Full package range - $96426.31 - $108174.16.
