Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. Its a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate focus and connect.

This role is based in Sydney and were looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

About the role

Were looking for a Global Benefits Manager to take ownership of our global benefits portfolio during a 12-month parental leave cover. Youll manage established programs deliver planned improvements and make practical decisions that balance cost local needs and the Canvanaut experience.

Our benefits span healthcare insurance and retirement plus wellbeing time off connection and our Vibe & Thrive allowance. Youll help make these easy to understand use and manage across our global team.

Theres plenty of variety and independence. Youll negotiate renewals coordinate launches and work through questions that dont always have a straightforward answer. Youll be trusted to prioritise your work bring others in when needed and keep things moving across countries and projects.

Benefits will be your main focus with some opportunity to support broader reward partnering. This could suit someone with a strong benefits background whos interested in moving towards a reward generalist role.

What youll do

• Own day-to-day delivery of our global benefits portfolio working with regional teams to resolve issues and support local needs.

• Manage brokers and providers negotiate renewals and track budgets balancing value for money with a great benefits experience.

• Deliver planned benefit launches and changes across countries coordinating timelines approvals local requirements and communications.

• Use benchmarking costs feedback and usage data to recommend where to improve programs and focus investment.

• Work closely with Finance Legal Payroll and People teams keeping responsibilities clear and building local benefits knowledge.

• Keep policies communications and processes clear and up to date finding practical ways to simplify administration and help Canvanauts use their benefits.

• Support broader reward partnering where needed including compensation benchmarking and advice on offers and reward decisions.

Youre probably a match if

• You have solid experience managing benefits across multiple countries including budgets broker relationships and renewal negotiations.

• You can manage several projects at once make thoughtful choices about priorities and adapt when circumstances change.

• Youre confident using data and feedback to build a recommendation balancing people needs with commercial considerations.

• You care about the wider people experience and enjoy exploring benefits that support wellbeing belonging and life outside work.

• You communicate clearly and build strong relationships across teams and regions.
