General Manager Queensland

This opportunity reflects Bielbys continued growth in Queenslandand the importance of strong accountable business unit leadership as we buildon our established transport capability and expand our project footprint acrossthe state. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of Bielbyssenior leadership team the General Manager Queensland will translateBielbys Strategic Plan Operating Model and Queensland Business Unit plan intoclear regional priorities disciplined work-winning safe and profitabledelivery and sustainable business performance.

  • Lead the Queensland Business Unit with end-to-end accountability for business planning budget performance work-winning delivery commercial outcomes and strategic execution.
  • Translate Bielbys Strategic Plan Operating Model and Queensland Business Plan into action.
  • Own business unit performance against agreed revenue margin cash overhead secured work pipeline and delivery targets.
  • Drive disciplined market engagement client relationships opportunity selection bid strategy and tender conversion across target Queensland sectors.
  • Oversee safe profitable and high-quality project delivery from award to close-out ensuring risks issues and opportunities are visible and actively managed.
  • Lead develop and hold accountable the Queensland leadership team building capability succession depth and a high-performance culture aligned to the Bielby Way.
  • Work collaboratively with Group functions and shared services to support enterprise-wide decision-making governance systems adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Champion safety environmental responsibility quality assurance and compliance with Bielby Management System requirements across all Queensland operations.
