Set within expansive landscaped grounds youll have the opportunity to help nurture and enhance a stunning outdoor environment that residents take great pride this hands-on role you will be responsible for maintaining gardens lawns and outdoor areas across the village ensuring they remain safe and well-presented. From vibrant garden beds to a thriving communal vegetable garden this is a role where your passion for gardening can make a visible and lasting to the Village & Sales Manager your duties will include:Maintaining lawns garden beds trees shrubs and landscaped areas throughout the village Looking after the shared garden spaces and general garden maintenanceMowing hedging edging and whipper snipping Planting weeding spraying pruning trimming and clearing leavesWatering monitoring and maintaining irrigation systemsCollecting and disposing of green waste and garden debris Keeping tools and equipment in good shapeEnsuring all gardening activities are carried out safely and in line with workplace health and safety requirementsShiftsTuesday: 8am 4pmWednesday: 8am 4pmThursday: 8am 4pmOur preferred working days for this position are outlined above; however we recognise the importance of flexibility and may be able to consider alternative arrangements for the right candidate. About youThe successful candidate will have the following:Demonstrated experience in gardening landscaping or horticulture is highly regarded however not essentialCurrent Australian Drivers LicenceA genuine interest in assisting the independent living seniorsSkilled in pruning planting and soil preparationExperience operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment safelyAttention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of garden presentationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills for interacting with residents and staff in a friendly professional mannerKnowledge of safe work practices and commitment to workplace health and safetyLevel 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)Ready to Unlock your Future with KeytonIf you have a passion for gardening enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating beautiful landscapes wed love to hear from you.
