Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
Service Stream is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Group Business Information Systems (GBIS) team. This role blends software development with application support giving you the opportunity to enhance and modernise systems that support our operations nationally.
Please note: This is a full-time permanent position based at our Collins Street office with genuine hybrid flexibility. The role is open to Australian Citizens.
Application Support & Reliability
- Provide Level 1 2 and 3 support for critical applications and integrations
- Investigate and resolve incidents defects and performance issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
- Monitor application health and maintain support documentation
Software Development
- Design develop test and deploy secure scalable solutions
- Deliver enhancements upgrades and modernisation initiatives
- Refactor legacy applications and reduce technical debt
- Implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities
Database & Integration Support
- Develop and optimise SQL queries stored procedures and database objects
- Troubleshoot database performance and data integrity issues
- Support REST APIs integrations and data migration activities
- Collaborate with DBA infrastructure and vendor teams
Change & Release Management
- Support application releases upgrades and deployments
- Prepare testing implementation and rollback documentation
- Assist with patching vulnerability remediation and UAT activities
What Youll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5 years experience in Full Stack Development Software Engineering or Application Support
- Strong experience with C# .NET Framework/.NET Core and Web APIs
- Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills
- Front-end development experience with HTML CSS JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React Angular Vue or similar frameworks
- Experience with REST APIs Git and CI/CD practices
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and stakeholder management skills
Highly Regarded
- Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
- Power Platform
- PowerShell or Python scripting
- Application monitoring and observability tools
- ERP workforce management or asset management systems
- Agile DevOps and ITIL environments
- Microsoft certifications
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
