Job Summary

Oaks Port Douglas Resort are looking for a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor who brings proven front office experience leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences to join the team.
 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Lead and support the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a warm welcome for all guests.
  • Serve as a role model sharing your expertise and continuously motivating the team to achieve high standards of service.
  • Oversee the completion of daily tasks ensuring they are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

Shift Details (subject to change):

  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday 
  • Shift times scheduled within 7:00am to 11:00pm
  • Immediate start available

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team; prior supervisory experience is highly regarded.
  • Extensive background in the hospitality industry ideally within a hotel or resort setting with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanour even in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of duties.
  • Impeccable professional presentation reflecting the high standards of the organisation.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules as required by the operational needs of the business.

Additional Information :

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a waitstaff bartender or all-rounder in a hospitality environment.
  • A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.
  • Reliability with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
