The Forklift Operator Containers is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of shipping containers throughout the Symons Clark yard.
To be successful in this role youll hold a current Forklift Licence with previous forklift experience preferred. Were looking for someone with a positive attitude a willingness to learn and a strong commitment to working safely while maintaining high operational standards.
What you will be doing
- Operate forklifts to transport load and unload shipping containers within the Symons Clark yard
- Place containers in designated locations to maintain an organised and efficient yard
- Conduct routine forklift and equipment inspections reporting any maintenance issues to the Container Park Operations Manager
- Work closely with the Container Park team to coordinate container movements and resolve operational issues
- Maintain a clean safe and orderly container yard including general housekeeping duties
Do you have
- High Risk Forklift Licence LF
- High Risk Reach Stacker Licence RS desirable
- Experience working unsupervised
- Commitment to completing tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional information:Successful applicants will be required to complete a drug and alcohol screening police check and provide a pre employment medical.
