Forklift Driver

Whats The Role:

Were seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport and logistics needs.

Lindsay Transport is Australias largest fresh produce transporter delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Were part of the Lindsay Group a national leader in transport and logistics connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Safe Always Demonstrating safe work practices leading by example and promoting a safe work culture. Temperature Sensitive Freight working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight ensuring the safe and timely Handling Loading and unloading vehicles; moving freight to and from storage areas; Primarily loading dry fresh refrigerated frozen freight onto trailers for Management & Accuracy Load trucks in accordance with the load sheetEquipment Operation Stabilisation equipment is used as required.

What Youll Bring:

• Hold a valid and current forklift licence with demonstrated operating experience
• Bring experience in warehouse operations including pick packing and stocktaking
• Demonstrate experience loading and unloading trucks
• Possess refrigeration experience (preferred)
• Be reliable punctual and have strong communication skills
• Follow and complete transport documentation accurately
