The Opportunity

KBR is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join our Defence Sustainment team supporting a critical capability within the LC4SB Sustainment SPO. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional with experience in Defence fleet asset or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to play a key role in managing fleet readiness and sustainment outcomes.

As the Fleet Manager you will support fleet and asset management activities oversee logistics planning and inventory management provide technical advice and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Working within an integrated team you will engage with Defence stakeholders to ensure fleet sustainment activities are delivered efficiently and in accordance with Defence policy and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Defence fleet inventory and asset activities.
  • Coordinate logistics and sustainment support.
  • Monitor fleet readiness and asset performance.
  • Provide logistics advice to key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Defence policies.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • Experience in Defence fleet logistics or asset management.
  • Knowledge of ILS principles and Defence logistics systems (MILIS SAP and/or CMT-L desirable).
  • Strong communication problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Defence environment.
  • Eligibility to access US Export Controlled Materiel.
  • Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
