Toll Group is seeking a commercially focused Financial Analyst to support our Government & Defence business. This role combines management accounting financial accounting and business partnering providing critical financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with Finance Commercial and Operational stakeholders you will deliver accurate reporting budgeting forecasting analysis and compliance activities while driving continuous improvement across finance processes.
This is a 12 month secondment role.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reporting analysis and commentary.
- Analyse budget and forecast variances identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support budgeting forecasting and cashflow management processes.
- Develop financial models and reporting using SAP OneStream and Excel.
- Prepare Monthly Business Review (MBR) reporting and presentations.
- Complete month-end journals reconciliations and reporting activities.
- Provide commercial insights and decision support to business leaders.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support statutory reporting audit and tax compliance activities.
- Manage fixed assets lease accounting (IFRS 16) and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Toll policies.
- Support month-end close activities and consolidated reporting.
- Build strong relationships across Finance Commercial and Operations teams.
- Drive process improvements and standardisation initiatives.
- Contribute to a collaborative high-performing finance team.
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience in both management and financial accounting.
- Strong understanding of P&L balance sheet cashflow and tax reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
- Experience with ERP systems ideally SAP and/or OneStream.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
