We are looking for a new Finance Officerto join ourteam.

We provide high quality exceptional counselling services and assistance to individuals who have personal and/or work-related issues that may impact their wellbeing work performance safety individual and workplace morale and psychological health.

We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in a fast paced high-volume environment. The Assistant Accountant will support Acacias business operations through the effective management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our broader finance operations.

What You Need to Know

  • Permanent full-time employment Monday to Friday
  • Based in our Brisbane CBD office
  • Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Credit control and management of aged receivables
  • Opportunity to contribute to the broader finance operations of a growing organisation

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
  • A minimum of one years experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Experience using Xero is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience working in finance operations
  • Competency in the Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel and confidence using information management systems
  • A consistent and professional presentation and manner
  • Excellent customer service interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities work effectively under pressure and operate both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive resourceful approach and strong attention to detail
  • High levels of integrity and transparency with the ability to align with Acacias values and organisational ethos
