Are you a data-savvy finance professional with a passion for retail and a knack for turning numbers into actionable story lines Were looking for a Finance Analyst Retail Operations to support our Dan Murphys and BWS store networks.

In this commercial partner role you will be the primary engine driving store labour cost reporting forecasting and insightful analytics across our store ecosystem. Youll also step up as a trusted financial advisor to the Dan Murphys Cellar leadership team uncovering data-driven opportunities that directly boost like-for-like sales profitability and operational excellence

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Partner closely with Retail Operations to manage analyze and forecast store wages hours worked and cost-per-hour drivers across Dan Murphys and BWS
• Deliver financial leadership and strategic recommendations to cellar operations utilizing cohort data to enhance performance and growth
• Work directly with our Simpler For Stores team to ensure operational labor impacts are understood accurate and optimized
• Level up our reporting capabilityautomating existing workflows and introducing sharp timely dashboards that reveal risks and opportunities in our Cost of Doing Business (CODB)
• Manage month-end processes journals and budgeting for state operations cost centers (including L&D spending) while teaming up with cross-functional partners across the business.

Qualifications :

Now lets talk about you: 

• 5 years of progressive commercial finance experience ideally within retail FMCG or fast-paced operational environments
• CA/CPA qualification is preferred (though not essential if your experience speaks for itself)
• Advanced data modeling skills with high comfort navigating complex data environments (e.g. SAP GCP TeamOne IBM Excel)
• Exceptional stakeholder management skillsyou know how to translate financial complexity into clear operational actions for store and leadership teams
• A proactive curious approach with high attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
