Kerman Contracting is seeking experienced WHSE Advisors to help to deliver non-process infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster offering a fixed-term contract. There are multiple positions available.
As a WHSE Advisor you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining WHSE procedures and processes on-site as well as ensuring project WHSE requirements.

Roles Duties and Responsibilities:
Coaching and mentoring the site leadership team and subcontractor workforce on best practice WHSE procedures
Actively promote a physically and psychologically safe workplace by assisting others to identify eliminate or control hazards in the workplace
Be actively involved with implementing and maintaining project WHSE Management Plans Risk Registers WHSE Procedures and Forms through consultation with all site personnel and stakeholders
Conduct WHSE inspections and be actively involved with WHSE audits
Maintain accurate WHSE statistics. WHSE reports shall be provided externally to the Client and internally to the Project team and WHSE Manager
Ensure workers have the relevant training and licenses based on the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Ensure that that the appropriate emergency equipment is available tested and is compliant
Ensure employees and subcontractors are aware of the safe work procedures and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process
Experience in managing and delivering training and assessments such as VOCs (non-high risk) is desirable
About you:
A minimum of 5 years in a similar WHSE position
Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
Excellent interpersonal communications skills
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
Formal incident investigation training is desirable
A positive and team-first approach
