The Departmentfor Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people andplaces in South Australia by managing roads marine and public transportnetworks across the State and builds and maintains the State-ownedinfrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important governmentservices to our community.
Commercial Marine and State Waters manages ferry andmarine assets delivering projects supporting operations and improvingsustainable and efficient marine services.
Key duties include leading ferry infrastructure andsustainability projects managing asset procurement and delivery maintenanceand renewal activities of ferry assets and supporting efficient ferry andmarine operations.
We are seeking a collaborative and proactive projectmanager with strong stakeholder engagement communication and problem-solvingskills proven project delivery experience and a commitment to safetycontinuous improvement and customer-focused outcomes.
Educational Qualifications / Licences
- Degree in mechanical engineering providing eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
- Qualifications in procurement contract management and/or project management is regarded.
- A current Drivers Licence is essential.
Special Conditions
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Some out-of-hours and weekend work along with some intra / interstate travel may be required.
Remuneration
PO3 - $111870 to $119994 pa superannuation.
