Job Summary

At the NSW Department of Education we educate and inspire lifelong learners from early childhood through schooling to vocational education and training.

  • Ongoing full-time employment
  • Based in Parramatta requiring attendance at the base location two days per week with one day per week at an alternative office.
  • Salary ranges from $102936 to $113579 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The role provides a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and to support the Senior Executive/s achievement of organisational objectives.

Key accountabilities

  • Prioritise requests and manage the Executives time diary and competing demands.
  • Coordinate appointments travel meetings records and correspondence.
  • Prepare briefs agendas minutes presentations and executive correspondence.
  • Gather and provide accurate information and reports to support decision-making.
  • Maintain effective systems procedures and technology to support efficient service delivery.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
