Environmental Services Supervisor (Evening)
Job Summary
An excellent opportunity exists to lead our Environmental Services team in a patient-centred team environment. We are seeking a dedicated patient centred Environmental Services Supervisor to provide leadership and support to the team of Hospitality Service Associates (HSA) and Orderlies in the provision of a high quality clean and safe environment for patients VMOs tenants staff and visitors that is consistent with infection control and cleaning standards.
This permanent Part-Time or Full-Time opportunity is a crucial role in ensuring consistent high-quality service delivery from the Environmental Services team across our hospital.
Available on the evening roster from 10:30pm to 6:00am this position plays a key role in maintaining our service standards and supporting hospital operations.
You will make an impact by:
- Be highly accountable and demonstrate a supportive and engaging leadership style
- Working within promoting the Hospitals OH&s policy and procedures and safe work practices at all times
- Strive for excellent cleaning outcomes by adhering to the relevant cleaning standards and Infection Control guidelines
- Review and use data collected from cleaning audits to strive for quality improvement
- Providing friendly and genuine assistance to patients visitors and colleagues
- Sound management of labour and financial resources
To be successful in this role
You will have:
- Experience managing a team of 6 or more staff across a shift
- Excellent written verbal and communication skills
- Have an excellent understanding of cleaning standards in healthcare
- Have 2 years experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Have solid computer skills (essential)
- Be proactive and responsive to patient needs and service demands
- Be available to work across various shifts & days including permanent weekend shifts
