Electrical Testing & Commissioning Technician Rail

Could you be our next Test Tech on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract at Newport we are looking for
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct train inspections and preparation activities upon arrival at the commissioning site.
- Perform routine commissioning and support static and dynamic validation testing in line with approved procedures.
- Complete testing activities and sign off relevant test specifications to meet delivery schedules.
- Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning and warranty phases.
- Prepare and issue accurate test reports including documentation of failures and defects.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to address quality reliability and performance all commissioning and testing activities are completed safely efficiently and in compliance with project requirements.

- Hold a Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Strong understanding of train systems architecture and electrical/mechanical sub-systems.
- Ability to interpret and work from test procedures electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in preparing accurate test reports and maintaining detailed commissioning records.
