Electrical Supervisor Commercial Construction

Permanent Full-Time Up to $65/hr Penalties Super Vehicle Fuel

CrewSELECT is partnering with an established electrical contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a permanent full-time position.

The business is based in Bibra Lake with its current commercial construction project located in Woodbridge. Future projects will be delivered across the Perth metropolitan area so flexibility to work across both NOR and SOR locations is required.

As Electrical Supervisor you will oversee the daily delivery of electrical works across commercial construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising electricians apprentices and trade assistants
• Coordinating daily site activities and allocating work
• Conducting pre-starts toolbox talks and daily planning
• Coordinating labour materials equipment and subcontractors
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Working closely with builders project managers and other trades
• Monitoring productivity workmanship and project progress
• Identifying delays and communicating site requirements
• Coordinating testing commissioning inspections and defect rectification
• Ordering materials and managing site stock
• Attending site and project meetings
• Maintaining accurate site and compliance documentation

This position would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor Leading Hand or Senior Electrician who is confident leading commercial construction teams and taking ownership of site delivery.

You will require:

• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Commercial construction electrical experience
• Supervisory leading-hand or senior electrician experience
• Ability to lead and coordinate electrical teams
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical regulations
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong planning organisation and communication skills
• Professional approach when dealing with builders clients consultants and suppliers
• Current White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Flexibility to work across Perth metropolitan projects

Experience working on schools shopping centres warehouses office fit-outs tilt-panel developments or similar commercial projects will be highly regarded.
