YourOpportunity

As the Electrical Supervisor you will coordinate all direct report site employees plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to a culture of Safety & Health above all else
  • Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract the specifications the EBA and safety and environmental regulations
  • Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project
  • Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work
  • Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards
  • Ensuring accurate timesheets are submitted to the pay office within specified timeframes
  • Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
  • Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work
  • Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination
  • Drive organisational change and a culture of consistency discipline and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • AQF Certificate II in Construction (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years site experience with a minimum 1 year experience as a leading hand
  • Managed self and resources to deliver work to $10M
  • Applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with scope of works technical criteria (SWTC)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience includes planning up to 4 weeks ahead and monitoring of resources within area of accountability
  • Conduct own work and teams according to site SHEQ

This role is offered on FIFO arrangement from Brisbane or local hire on an 18 on and 10 off roster.
