About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position where youll supervise electrical crews and help deliver works safely efficiently and to specification.

Youll play a key role on site leading daily activity and working closely with project leadership to keep work moving and standards high.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading pre-starts toolbox talks and daily safety conversations.
• Supervising electricians apprentices and subcontractors.
• Coordinating labour materials and daily work plans.
• Supporting construction commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensuring works meet safety quality and project requirements.
• Helping maintain strong communication between site teams and project leadership.
• Oversee installation of HV/LV cabling systems Solar BESS or associated infrastructure.

What youll bring

• Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Electrician.
• Background in renewable energy HV or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of WHS and site-based risk management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding and interoperating relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
• Contract Training GC 21 AS/4000 Standard Minor works.
• Training in OH&S disciples.
• A practical solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
