Gladstone offers stipends for classified staff based on educational experience. Inital salary placement is per theClassified salary schedule anddetermined by experience.

General Description:
Responsible for organizing and supervising students in social situations (i.e. recess lunch room library supervision).More specific duties may be assigned by the building administrator based on building needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sound oral and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent documentation.
- Second language skills desirable.
- Sound reading and speaking skills in English.
- Emotional and physical stamina to perform the duties assigned to this position
- Ability to exercise tact patience and courtesy when working with students staff parents and the community.
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Experience in a school setting desirable.
- Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities including communitiesof color in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
- Other qualifications as may be established by the District.
Essential Functions:
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Supervise students in a variety of settings.
- Assist students in behavior management as directed by supervisor.
- Follow confidentiality guidelines of the District.
- Adhere to policies and procedures of the District.
- Conform to building regulations and employment rules.
- Other duties as assigned
- Capable of working with and providing curricula to students of various ages in small group settings or individually.
- Able to communicate with parents by phone email and in person.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in organizing and supervising children.
