ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Drill Fitter to join our maintenance team supporting drilling operations across Western Australia. You will be responsible for maintaining servicing and repairing drill rigs and associated mining equipment to ensure safe reliable and productive operations.
KEY DETAILS
- 8/6 roster (day shift only) back-to-back rotations
- FIFO from Perth with paid travel provided
- Meals accommodation and flights fully covered
- Fitters vehicle supplied
- Town-based role with site travel as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service maintain and repair drill rigs and heavy mining equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical faults
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Support field crews and respond to breakdowns when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade qualification as Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or similar)
- Experience working on drill rigs or heavy mining equipment (essential)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Pass pre-employment medical drug & alcohol screening
- Police clearance within 12 months
- Manual Drivers Licence
