PALS is opening a new Supported Independent Living (SIL)home in Yarrawonga and is seeking experienced Disability / SIL SupportWorkers to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a new service fromthe beginning with ongoing growth expected. We are looking for reliable staffwho can commit to regular ongoing shifts (minimum 2 per week includingsleepover shifts).
Experience supporting participants with complex needsis highly regarded and additional training will be provided for the rightcandidates.
About the role
You will support participants living in a SIL environment tobuild independence and quality of life through:
Personal care and daily living support
Meal preparation and household tasks
Medication support and health monitoring
Behavioural and complex support needs
Community access and transport support
Following individual care plans and documentation
What we are looking for
Previous experience in disability support SIL/high-needs preferred
Certificate III in Individual Support / Disability (minimum)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid & CPR (current)
Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
Availability for 2 shifts per week including sleepovers
Willingness to commit to ongoing rostered shifts as the service grows
