Our Disability Support Workers (DSWs) play an important role in supporting participants in their homes and communities including with personal care daily living activities community access and social participation.

Current Opportunity Wollert VIC 3750
We are currently seeking compassionate reliable and proactive Disability Support Workers in Wollert Victoria 3750 and surrounding areas to join our growing team on a contractual (sole trader/ABN) basis.

This contracting model provides greater flexibility to manage your availability and select the supports you are comfortable providing while being backed by an established professional and nurse-led organisation.

Role Details:
Depending on participant requirements shifts may be available across:
  • Weekday daytime and evening hours
  • Weekends
  • Nights
  • Public holidays
  • Personal care and assistance with daily living
  • Domestic assistance
  • Community access and social participation
  • Transport to appointments shopping activities and other community-based commitments
Where a participant requires transport as part of their support applicable travel and vehicle reimbursements will be discussed in accordance with the engagement arrangements.

What Youll Need:
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain where applicable:
  • A registered Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • Evidence of current working rights in Australia such as Australian Citizenship Permanent Residency or an appropriate visa.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent/relevant qualification.
  • A current and valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC).
  • A current National Police Check issued within the last three years.
  • A valid First Aid Certificate issued within the last three years.
  • Current CPR certification issued within the last 12 months.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety and You.
  • A professional reliable and participant-focused approach to disability support.

Depending on the participant and duties a current driver licence and access to a reliable appropriately insured vehicle may also be required.
