We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across multiple homes in the Ryde 2112 area.

This role is ideal for support workers who are confident resilient and experienced in supporting clients with complex needs and strong/challenging behaviours.

About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker within a CPA SIL home your role is focused on providing support to clients in a domestic setting (in the home).

You will make a meaningful difference through supporting clients withdailyliving needs such as cooking and mealtimesandhelping with cleaning&general household tasks.

You will also provide personal care to clients in a respectful and dignified manner administer medication and support clients to move around the house through manual handling and the use ofspecialisedequipment such as hoists.

Youllalso be asked to document andmonitorclientwellbeing andcollaborate effectively with other CPA staff tomaintaina supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting clients with complex behaviours and high support needs

• Assisting with personal care daily routines and household tasks

• Implementing behaviour support plans and following care plans

• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes

• Building positive relationships with our clients and team members

About You:

• Proven experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours

• Strong understanding of behaviour support strategies

• Calm patient and resilient approach in high-pressure situations

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable with good availability across a variety of shifts (including early mornings weekends and active nights)

Essential Requirements:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid & CPR Certificate

• Current NSW DriversLicence(minimum P2)

• Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role

• Willingness to work a rotating roster

• Full working rights in Australia

• Favourable: Relevant qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Disability Individual Support or similar)
