Your opportunity
We are seeking a Digital Engineering Manager to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. We are seeking experienced professionals with a track record of delivering data centre projects and an understanding of the complexities of hyperscale and enterprise-grade environments. This is a career-defining opportunity to contribute to a complex high-value project and play a key role in its successful delivery through construction commissioning and handover.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager youll work closely with project teams consultants subcontractors and the client to drive smarter ways of working improve collaboration and ensure the right information is available at the right time.

Lead the digital engineering function on a major data centre project helping shape how information technology and digital tools are used to deliver one of Australias most complex construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Digital Engineering team and driving digital delivery across the project lifecycle
• Working with project teams to ensure models data and project information support efficient project delivery
• Establishing and maintaining Digital Engineering standards processes and best practice across the project
• Partnering with consultants subcontractors and suppliers to improve coordination and information management
• Supporting project reporting and decision-making through digital tools data and project insights
• Representing the project in client and stakeholder meetings relating to Digital Engineering and BIM delivery
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes drive innovation and enhance project outcomes
• Building capability within the project team and championing the adoption of digital ways of working

What Youll Bring

• Experience leading Digital Engineering or BIM delivery on major construction infrastructure or data centre projects
• A strong understanding of digital design model coordination information management and project delivery workflows
• Experience managing Digital Engineering through both design and construction phases
• Strong knowledge of BIM platforms Common Data Environments and digital project delivery tools
• The ability to influence engage and bring people on the journey from project teams through to clients and contractors
• Experience developing digital strategies standards and processes that deliver real project outcomes
• A collaborative leadership style and a passion for driving continuous improvement
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Construction Digital Engineering or a related discipline
