About therole

We are seeking a Development Engineer to join our PlanningDepartment Services this role you will apply yourspecialist civil engineering knowledge to support and influence theCitys land development process underpinned by a tertiaryqualification in Civil Engineering. You will play a role incoordinating and assessing Structure Plans Subdivision PlansDevelopment Applications and Civil Engineering approvals.

To be considered forthis role you must address the following selection criteria aspart of your online application:

1. Knowledge of planning process and the relevant statutory guidance for Greenfield subdivision and urban infill development sites.
2. An ability to perform composite analysis interpret technical data and consider complex design elements attached to the provision of road and drainage infrastructure.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the modelling and implementation of urban water management concepts.
4. Knowledge of project management construction techniques materials and coordination of civil engineering related works.
5. Experience with software packages such as 3D Civil.
6. Quality communication (verbal and written) and a high-level negotiation skills.
7. Demonstrated experience leading a team.

What weoffer

This position offers a gross annual salary of $120603 -$128590 per annum and:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
