Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing a friendly professional first point of contact
• Managing the appointment book including scheduling confirming and following up appointments
• Answering phones and handling patient enquiries confidently
• Processing payments billing and HICAPS claims
• Managing day-to-day reception administration
• Keeping reception organised and running smoothly
• Communicating clearly with patients dentists and the wider practice team
• Confidently managing reception when the Practice Manager is unavailable
• Supporting sterilisation and infection control when required following structured training
• Working closely with the clinical team to help maintain an efficient practice flow

Qualifications :

To succeed in this role you will:

• Have previous experience in dental reception and/or assisting
• Hold a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (advantageous but not essential)
• Be confident supporting patients and working closely with the clinical team
• Bring a reliable trustworthy and team-focused approach to your work
• Have experience with dental practice software such as D4W (advantageous but not essential)
• Have a genuine interest in providing a great patient experience
