Job Summary

Own our Salesforce database. Fix whats broken set the standard and make sure our data works as hard as we do.

  • Own our Salesforce NPSP database
  • Connect Salesforce to the platforms driving our fundraising and campaigns.
  • Permanent full time role working in our Sydney or Melbourne office/ Hybrid working environment

About the role:

Youll own the accuracy integrity and consistency of our Salesforce NPSP data. Youll run the data quality processes that keep it usable as we grow and set the naming conventions and hygiene standards the whole team works to.

Youll oversee the system admin work our team does day to day including access permissions page layouts automation validation rules and make sure its accurate and consistent. Youll also own our relationships with the platforms connected to Salesforce (Raisely Ortto MoveData FormAssembly Plauti Mambo Merge Make and Stripe) keeping data flowing cleanly and escalating contracts to the Operations Director.

Youll manage our Digital Systems Administrator (Salesforce) directly and lead Salesforce training so every team at every skill level can use our systems with confidence.

You will have:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201).
  • Solid experience administering Salesforce ideally NPSP in a database or CRM role.
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce data models especially NPSP account/household structures.
  • Skilled in declarative config: fields page layouts validation rules flows permission sets reports/dashboards.
  • Experience with bulk data tools (Data Loader Data Import Wizard or similar)
  • Sharp attention to detail and a methodical approach to data quality.
  • A knack for translating technical database talk into plain English for non-technical staff.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy obligations for a not-for-profit holding donor data.
  • Not-for-Profit or fundraising sector experience advantageous
