Position: Senior Data Scientist and Data Engineering Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $120$180/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design realistic challenging data science and data engineering tasks including exploratory analyses statistical modeling machine learning pipelines ETL and data pipeline design.
• Illustrate what good looks like by writing precise task-specific criteria for data science and data engineering deliverables.
• Apply consistent evidence-based judgment to ensure assessments are reproducible and defensible.
• Take structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate on submitted work.
• Train and evaluate frontier AI models using expertise from top technology quantitative or financial firms.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4 years of professional data science data engineering or machine learning experience.
• Strong command of Python SQL statistical modeling machine learning experimentation and causal inference.
• Proven ability to turn messy real-world data into rigorous analyses and reliable pipelines.
• Excellent written English including the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
• Bachelors degree from an English-speaking country.
• Detail-oriented consistent approach to evaluating complex work.
