We have 4 x Data Engineer opportunities available in Perth on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

About the Role
As a Data Engineer at HBF youll play a key role in building and optimising the data pipelines models and assets that power analytics insights and decisionmaking across the organisation. Working within our cloudfirst data ecosystem youll collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and highquality data solutions that support HBFs growth and digital transformation.

In this role you will:

• Build maintain and optimise scalable data pipelines and integrations using AWS SQL and modern data engineering tools.

• Develop robust data models and database designs to support analytics reporting and operational data needs.

• Assemble and prepare complex data sets from diverse sources to meet functional and nonfunctional requirements.

• Design and implement process improvements such as automation pipeline optimisation and infrastructure enhancements.

• Support stakeholders and crossfunctional teams in solving datarelated issues and enabling data-driven decision-making.

• Contribute to solution design documentation testing and handover processes across the data engineering lifecycle.

About You
Youre a collaborative and solutionsfocused data engineer who thrives in a cloudbased agile environment. You bring strong technical expertise across modern data platforms paired with the ability to communicate effectively manage competing priorities and deliver highquality data products that support meaningful business outcomes.

Ideally you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Software Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud data technologies ideally across AWS Snowflake DBT Cloud or similar platforms.

• Strong data modelling capability with handson skills in schema design data management and building consumable data products.

• Advanced database development skills including SQL and performance optimisation.

• Experience with programming languages such as Python SQL and/or PySpark plus familiarity with DevOps tools and version control.

• Highly developed communication collaboration and workloadmanagement skills in a fastpaced agile environment.
