The Opportunity

Join IPC Healths Business and Performance Information Team as a Data Analyst and play a key role in supporting evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

This six-month parental leave cover position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to work with organisational datasets develop high-quality reporting solutions and support data-driven decision making. Youll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to design develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards while helping ensure the integrity accuracy and security of IPC Healths data assets.

Reporting to the Manager Data Systems and Analytics you will work closely with business users to understand reporting needs develop meaningful insights and support continuous improvement through data and analytics.

You Will Make a Difference By
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that support organisational and operational decision making.
  • Preparing transforming and modelling data using Power Query DAX and other Power BI tools.
  • Analysing interpreting and communicating trends and patterns within complex datasets.
  • Supporting end users to understand and effectively utilise reporting and data solutions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Maintaining the integrity confidentiality and security of organisational data.
  • Supporting the Health Data Manager with data documentation reporting and system improvements.
  • Researching and evaluating emerging technologies tools and industry trends that enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
To Succeed You Will Need
  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics or a related discipline together with relevant experience in data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong skills in data preparation data modelling Power Query and DAX.
  • Experience publishing and managing reports through the Power BI Service.
  • Experience working with databases and maintaining data integrity.
  • Knowledge of health client management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric tools and data engineering concepts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to professionalism collaboration and continuous improvement.
