Whats the role

As a Credit Manager youll play a key role in supporting regional commercial and agribusiness customers by making well-informed credit decisions that enable sustainable growth. Youll work independently from relationship management focusing on assessing transactions structuring deals and ensuring credit risk is appropriately managed.

Youll review and approve credit submissions within your delegated authority and support more complex deals through the approval process bringing a balanced view of risk and opportunity. Alongside this youll monitor your portfolio identify emerging risks and work proactively to protect credit quality.

Youll also act as a trusted advisor helping stakeholders interpret credit policy and apply it in a practical way. This is a fulltime/permanent role with flexible working arrangements across Australia (2 days in office) supporting customers and teams in the Regional Commercial & Agribusiness segment.

What do I need

Youll bring strong credit judgement commercial thinking and the ability to confidently navigate complex lending decisions.

  • Youre comfortable assessing and structuring credit deals making sound decisions that balance risk and customer needs ideally within business and agribusiness lending
  • You can interpret and apply credit policies in a practical real-world way to support business outcomes
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders using your communication skills to influence and guide decisions
  • You stay across your portfolio proactively identifying risks and taking action to maintain credit quality
  • Youre organised and adaptable able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
