Job Summary

  • Location: Naarm (Melbourne) Wurundjeri Country
  • Hybrid Working: Office Work from Home travel within Melbourne.
  • Employment type: Full Time (38 hours per week) with some weekend work.
  • Contract: Maximum Term Contract August 2026 to September 2027 (parental leave cover)
  • Salary: Social & Community Services Level 5 - $53.42 to $55.84 per hour superannuation

Are you passionate about gender equality and supporting young people to thrive

Our Coordinator Asista Program walks alongside female and gender diverse young people (12-18) in the child protection system creating safe consistent connections that foster confidence trust and life skills. Through a mentoring model youll support meaningful relationships between young people and volunteer mentors helping to nurture resilience and a sense of belonging as they move toward independence.

Every day youll help create inclusive spaces strengthen community connections and champion positive outcomes for young people. Youll collaborate with volunteers partners and colleagues using your skills and compassion to support growth empowerment and lasting change.

Youll be a great fit if you:

  • bring experiences working with Youth and or volunteers and or running community projects/programs.
  • bring qualifications in Social Work Youth work Community Services or arelated field is preferred however professional vocational work experience and lived experience is considered.
