What you will be doing/ Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Breakfast room service and bar food orders
• Prepare and ensure the availability of mis en place as required.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards. 
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. 
• Ensure your area of the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standards
• Ensure all equipment is maintained serviced and cleaned.  Report any problems to the Head Chef.
• Receive deliveries unpack produce and store stock.
• General Kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Attend briefings and meetings as required.
• Openly communicate during regular briefings ensuring all relevant information is passed on.
• Use Department Procedure Manuals as a base for all service procedures training.
• Complete all mandatory training through Accor Academy Learn Your Way & and other similar training platforms.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

• The ability to work a flexible 7-day roster.
• Interest in cooking.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.
• Creative and passionate about food and customer service
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
• Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong personal integrity
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
• Food Handling Certificate Required
• Cooking Qualification Ideal
