We are looking for an experienced Cook Indian Cuisine to join our growing restaurant team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on experience preparing Indian dishes and takes pride in delivering consistent taste quality and presentation.

You will work as part of a professional kitchen team in a supportive environment with opportunities to grow your career in Australia.

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Handle food preparation marination cooking and plating efficiently.
• Maintain consistent taste quality and portion sizes.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables meats spices sauces gravies and marinades.
• Ensure food is stored handled and prepared safely.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Help control food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Keep the kitchen and cooking equipment clean and organised.
• Work closely with the chef and other kitchen team members during busy service periods.
• Follow Australian food safety hygiene and workplace requirements.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and other duties as required.

• Proven experience as an Indian Cook in a restaurant hotel catering business or similar food service environment.
• Good knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine cooking methods spices and ingredients.
• Hands-on experience preparing Indian curries gravies rice dishes breads starters and other Indian specialties.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable disciplined and willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Relevant culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Previous experience working in Australia is an advantage.
