We are seeking an organised and proactive Contracts Officer to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for an administration professional with strong organisational skills attention to detail and aninterest in governance and compliance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Contracts & Infrastructure Manager the Contracts Officer plays a key role in supporting effective contract governance across Intereach by maintaining the organisations contract register and ensuring contract records are accurate complete and up to date.
The role provides oversight of key contract milestones and supports organisational compliance by monitoring reporting obligations renewal dates and contractual requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders you will help ensure contracts are effectively managed risks are minimised and organisational accountability is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the Intereach Contract Register ensuring records are accurate complete and up to date.
- Monitor contract commencement and expiry dates review periods reporting obligations and compliance requirements.
- Provide timely reminders and notifications regarding key contract milestones renewal dates and reporting deadlines.
- Ensure contract documentation is securely stored and appropriately filed within organisational record management systems.
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the Intereach Contract Management Plan.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting including aged care associated provider obligations.
- Prepare contract-related reports summaries and updates to support organisational oversight and decision-making.
- Identify and escalate potential risks contract expiries and compliance issues in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support and contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in contract administration governance support records management procurement administration or a similar administrative role.
- Experience maintaining registers databases or tracking systems with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience monitoring key milestones deadlines and compliance requirements and proactively coordinating follow-up actions.
- Strong computer skills and experience managing digital records and reporting systems.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative service-focused approach and commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
Desirable
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration Records Management Legal Studies or a related field.
- Familiarity with aged care compliance requirements particularly associated provider obligations under the Aged Care Act.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
