Synergie Australia is seeking a Contracts Managerfor atrusted client located in Melbourne.

The important parts:

Pay:Competitive Daily Rate Super Duration:ASAP to 31/12/2026 (possibility of extension or permanency based on performance and fit)

Hours:MondayFriday 7.6 hrs per day 38 hrs per week Hybrid preferably Melbourne based

What you will be required to do:

Youll provide commercial support to project teams helping deliver commercial performance and compliance targets across telco projects. This role will involve contract administration commercial risk management claims and dispute support supply chain onboarding and working closely with internal teams clients and subcontractors.

Providing commercial and contractual support to project teams in the delivery of contracted projects and obligations

Acting as a commercial representative with clients and the supply chain to work through commercial matters

Developing claim strategies for potential or imminent disputes and supporting issue resolution

Driving and improving commercial contract policies processes and procedures

Leading commercial negotiations for variations claims and renewals as required

Identifying and mitigating commercial risks supporting statutory compliance and revenue assurance and facilitating DOA approvals as needed

To be successful in the role you will:

5 years experience in commercial activities with commercial and contract management experience essential

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive results and financial impact

Sound understanding of contract and construction law and project commercial administration systems

Proven track record delivering commercial outcomes at an operational level

Prior experience in construction and telecommunications is highly desirable
