Community Support Worker (North Brisbane)

We are looking for dedicated Qualified and Experienced Community Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued customers.

Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years we have been supporting older people and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Our friendly compassionate and experienced team makes this possible.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Personal care: showering dressing grooming and medication assistance

• Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments

• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation

• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs

• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

• Caring compassionate & friendly

• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

• Reliable & dependable

• Ability to build rapport & good working relationships

• Comfortable using technology ( app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• Certificate III or IVIndividual Support

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

• Current First Aid certificate & CPR

• Current Australian Drivers License

• Reliable registered & insured vehicle

• Smart phone with internet access

• Capacity to complete 24 hour care or sleepover shifts
