Communications Engineer

Required Skills/Attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in Defence communications networking ICT or systems engineering roles.
  
• Knowledge of tactical communications networking and Land C4 technologies.
  
• Experience developing or reviewing technical documentation requirements or engineering assessments.
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  
• Ability to analyse technical risks issues and integration challenges.
  
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in communications telecommunications ICT or systems engineering.
  

Desired Skills/Attributes:

• Knowledge of the Defence Capability Lifecycle and Defence governance processes.
  
• Experience supporting capability development acquisition integration or sustainment activities.
  
• Understanding of Land C4 systems tactical networks and communications architectures.
  
• Experience supporting trials demonstrations evaluations or risk reduction activities.
  
• Familiarity with systems engineering methods standards and architecture development.
  
• Degree in Engineering Telecommunications ICT Computer Science Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
