Communication Coordinator

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland delivering complex rail station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months the head contractor is seeking a Communication Coordinator to coordinate accurate timely project communications that explain upcoming works impacts progress and milestones to affected audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare works notifications newsletters website updates presentations signage and briefing material
• Obtain forward work information from delivery teams and maintain the communications calendar
• Manage content review and approval workflows before publication
• Support community information sessions site events and milestone activities
• Maintain distribution lists contact records media libraries and evidence of issued communications

What Were Looking For

• Degree in communications public relations journalism marketing or a related discipline
• 3 years communications experience preferably in infrastructure construction or government programs
• Strong professional writing proofreading and content-coordination capability

Relocation packages on offer.

Australian experience is required.
