Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our team. This position provides high-level support in the conduct of both commercially funded and investigator-led clinical trials at Griffiths Clinical Trial Unit based at the Gold Coast campus.

The role involves all aspects of clinical trial coordination and requires experience in the preparation of ethics applications for clinical trials pre-screening calls of potential trial participants conduct of clinical trial visits and clinical trial project-related administrative tasks such as data entry project summaries and study close-out documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with participants clinicians commercial sponsors service providers and other stakeholders are essential. Experience in conducting biospecimen preparation and lab tests as well as clinical skills (vital signs venepuncture) is desirable.

This is a full time (1.0 FTE 100%) continuing contingent position based primarily at Griffith Universitys Gold Coast. This means the role is ongoing but continued employment is dependent on the availability of external funding.

Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full-time base salary for a Senior Research Assistant Grade 1 is in the range $96208 - $107420 per annum 17% superannuation. The total full-time package is in the range $112563 $125682 per annum.


Qualifications :

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • A Masters degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. health sciences biomedical science clinical research).
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials or research studies.
  • Sound knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
