About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Analyst to join our IT team in Victoria. This is a key role responsible for supporting optimising and enhancing our clinical systems to enable safe efficient and high-quality patient care.
You will work closely with clinicians operational teams and vendors to ensure our systems are configured effectively continuously improved and aligned with clinical workflows.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain clinical systems (e.g. RIS PACS EMR/EHR)
- Support application lifecycle activities including upgrades patches testing and releases
- Analyse clinical workflows and recommend system improvements
- Support implementations deployments and go-live activities across sites
- Perform system integration and UAT testing
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely support to clinical users
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver enhancements and projects
- Maintain documentation SOPs and configuration records
- Participate in on-call support as required
About You
You are a technically strong and clinically aware systems specialist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires prior experience within the healthcare industry ideally in radiology diagnostic imaging or hospital environments.
To be successful you will have:
- Proven experience (35 years) supporting clinical applications in a healthcare setting
- Hands-on experience with RIS PACS EMR/EHR or similar clinical systems
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (radiology experience highly desirable)
- Experience managing upgrades testing and system deployments
- Knowledge of HL7 DICOM and healthcare integrations
- Strong problem-solving analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work collaboratively
- Degree in IT Computer Science Health Informatics or related field
- ITIL PMP or relevant certifications (desirable)
