YOUR ROLE

Join our Sales Team in a full-time permanent role as the Client Executiveto lead ourFederal Government Agencies territory based in Canberra. You will have the opportunity todrive growth in a critical sectorwhile establishing yourself as avertical industry leaderin cybersecurity. Your focus will be ondelivering tailored cybersecurity solutionsthat address the unique needs of Federal Government departments leveraging Thalesglobal expertise and cutting-edge capabilities.

  • Portfolio Ownership: Act as thestrategic leaderowning all aspects ofclient engagement revenue generation and long-term strategyfor Federal Government accounts.

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and executecomprehensive sales strategies and account plansto achieve revenue targets and drive pipeline growth.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintainstrong relationships with senior decision-makersin Federal Government departments.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely withinternal teams(pre-sales partnerships marketing capability leaders) toalign efforts and deliver integrated cybersecurity solutions

  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Oversee theentire sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure ensuring successful delivery in collaboration with the capabilities organisation.

WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Proven track recordinAustralian Federal Government saleswith experience managinglarge portfolios or territories

  • Demonstrated cybersecurity knowledge

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills tailored tohigh-level government stakeholders

  • Experience in developing business models partnerships and go-to-market strategies

  • Strong understanding of security solutions products and market dynamics

  • Proven experience in business development client management or portfolio growth

  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and build trust across teams.
