Claims Associate
Job Summary
At TAL our Claims Associates play a vital role in helping customers navigate some of lifes most challenging moments with care confidence and compassion. By supporting the claims journey and assessing simpler claims they help ensure timely fair and thoughtful outcomes while connecting customers with the support they need. This role contributes to TALs purpose of protecting people not just providing insurance by delivering a high-quality claims experience that builds trust and makes a meaningful difference when it matters most.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate claims administration activities to support efficient and timely claim assessment.
- Manage a portfolio of low-complexity claims to deliver positive customer outcomes.
- Provide responsive support to customers by resolving straightforward claims enquiries.
- Summarise key customer and medical information to enable informed claims decisions.
- Monitor claim workflows and priorities to maintain service standards and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with internal specialists and stakeholders to progress claims effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications :
- Bring customer service experience and a commitment to delivering positive outcomes for customers.
- Communicate with empathy and care building trust with customers during challenging life events.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify solutions and support the efficient progression of claims.
- Build positive working relationships with customers colleagues and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure work is accurate compliant and high quality.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge including medical terminology and claims-related information with confidence and curiosity.
