CHPP Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist the CHPP team with developing mechanical maintenance strategies arranging weekly down days and managing secondary work orders.
With extensive interactions across various departments you will require solid written and verbal communication skills enjoy solving maintenance problems and be an effective team player.
To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a capable friendly and professional team to achieve business objectives. You will also enjoy the challenge of maintaining a CHPP implementing preventative maintenance and managing small projects.

Qualifications :
To be successful you will have the following:
- You will need to possess mechanical trade qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance Management as well as experience in large open cut mining operation specifically the maintenance of fixed plant.
- Previous planning experience and a well-developed understanding of fixed plant maintenance strategies.
- Ability to focus on long-term solutions ongoing innovation maintenance costs workplace efficiencies.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Project SAP and downtime reporting are highly desirable.

- Permanent full-time position at Capcoal Mine Middlemount QLD.
- Monday to Friday site role with the potential for a 9-day fortnight
