Create your best future and join the Customer Lifecycle Management Delivery Unit as a Chief Product Owner Unassisted Onboarding & Maintenance.
Whats the role

This is an opportunity to shape the future of customer onboarding across Westpac. As Chief Product Owner for Unassisted Onboarding & Maintenance youll lead the strategy and roadmap for the capabilities that determine customer treatment identify and verify customers and related parties and support ongoing control monitoring.

Youll work across a complex enterprise environment bringing together customer risk technology and operational priorities to create simpler more seamless onboarding experiences. Leading a large Release Train youll make critical investment and prioritisation decisions influence enterprise outcomes and help deliver the next generation of customer due diligence capabilities.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Sydney.

What do I need
  • Extensive product leadership experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Proven experience developing and delivering large-scale multi-year product or platform strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at General Manager and Group Executive levels across functions
  • Experience balancing customer outcomes regulatory obligations and commercial priorities
  • Strong understanding of customer onboarding identity customer due diligence or related domains
  • Experience leading complex delivery portfolios managing enterprise dependencies and prioritisation and investment decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated capability building high-performing product teams and product practices
  • Strong judgement analytical capability and evidence-based decision making
