Calvary are looking for a Chef to join our team in South Eastern Melbourne.

- $31-$37 per hour base rate plus Super as per the Enterprise Agreement
We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our busy health care catering this rewarding role you will prepare and deliver nutritious high-quality meals that support the health recovery and wellbeing of our patients.
Working on a rotating roster across breakfast lunch and dinner services you will thrive in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment where attention to detail food safety and teamwork are essential. While the role can be demanding it offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with patient dietary requirements and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared presented and delivered to a high standard.
- Maintain strict food safety hygiene and infection control practices.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to meet meal service schedules.
- Assist with stock control food storage and kitchen cleanliness.
- Support a positive dining experience for patients through quality food service.
- Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen healthcare aged care or hospitality environment.
- Relevant recognised qualifications as a Chef
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
