Bellbird Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone reliable skilled and passionate about preparing high-quality meals in a busy hotel/pub environment
Key Duties
Prepare cook and present high-quality meals according to menu standards
Plan and organise daily food preparation and kitchen operations
Ensure meals are prepared using fresh ingredients and consistent cooking methods
Monitor food quality portion control and presentation standards
Assist with menu planning and seasonal specials
Maintain kitchen cleanliness hygiene and food safety standards
Manage stock rotation ordering and minimise wastage
Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety requirements
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or similar
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef
Strong knowledge of food preparation cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Availability to work weekends evenings and public holidays as required
