- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the relevant subject curriculum and the Colleges teaching framework.
- Identify diverse learning needs and plan experiences that enable all students to achieve success.
- Assess and provide both positive and critical feedback that monitors progress and gives clear actionable steps for improvement
- Support wellbeing and manage behaviour by building rapport maintaining an orderly classroom and following up concerns in line with policy.
- Contribute to the College community and professional practice through teamwork cocurricular involvement administration supervision and ongoing development.
- A relevant Graduate Teaching qualification and current Queensland Teacher Registration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum development and implementation and contemporary educational issues.
- Proven classroom teaching capability including effective planning delivery classroom management assessment and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the Colleges Christian ethos and values.
